Ground transportion from San Jose Airport to Convention Center and Hotel
At the airport follow the directions for Ground Transportation and the to the Airport Flyer (Line 10) also known as the VTA Airport Shuttle. The Airport Shuttle is free. Be sure to get on the one headed to the VTA Light Rail (not CALTRAIN). It runs every 10 minutes and stops at both terminals. Get off at the VTA stop, Metro/Airport, cross the street in front of you, then go the left. Purchase your ticket ($1.75 from the machine) and get on the Light Rail train 901/Santa Teresa or 902/Winchester. Get off the train at the Convention Center stop. That stop is in the middle of the street and both Parkside Hall and the Crowne Plaza Hotel are on the same side of the street when you get off the train. The Airport Flyer runs every 10 minutes and takes 7 minutes to get to the Light Rail Station. It is FREE. The Light Rail runs every 15 minutes and takes 15 minutes to get to the Convention Center. It costs $1.75.

Ground transportation from San Francisco Airport to Convention Center and Hotel
At the airport Bart/SFO station, purchase a $1.50 ticket and take the Bart Dublin/Mill Line/SFO/Milbrae train. Exit at the Caltrain Milbrae Station (Milbrae Ave. & California Dr.) Purchase a $5.75 ticket and board the Caltrain Southbound Line/San Jose. Get off the train at the San Jose Diridon Transit Center. Purchase a $1.75 Santa Clara VTA ticket and board #902/Mountain View train. Get off at the Convention Center. Total travel time is approximately 90 minutes, depending on your connections. Weekday express trains are every 30 minutes; weekend trains are every hour.
Ground transportation from Oakland Airport to Convention Center and Hotel
At the airport, take the AIRBART Shuttle Line ($3.00) to the BART Coliseum station. Purchase a $3.20 BART ticket and take the BART Daly/Fremont Line to Fremont. Take the Santa Clara VTA Bus #180 ($3.50) from the BART Fremont Station to San Fernando and Almaden in San Jose.
By trainCALTRAIN goes from San Francisco to San Jose. Amtrak’s Capitol Corridor goes from Auburn to San Jose, with one connection daily from Chicago. Amtrak has connections from California’s Central Valley and Los Angles through Sacramento and Stockton. Amtrak has one daily train in each direction from Seattle to Los Angeles. From CalTrain or Amtrak, transfer at the San Jose Diridon Transit Center to the Santa Clara VTA #902/Mountain View train. Get off at the Convention Center. CALTRAIN, Capitol Corridor and Amtrak fares vary. VTA fare from the Transit Center is $1.75.
Parking near the Venue
The City of San Jose has several lots near the convention center which have reduced price parking on Saturday and Sunday starting January 1. Expected price is $5/day. The Convention Center lot is $18/day. The Crowne Plaza lot (next to Parkside Hall) is $22/day. There may be a $20/weekend rate for the day at the Crowne Plaza. Hotel guests pay $14/day.
