Golden Gate Fencing Center

Golden Gate Fencing Center is one of the premier fencing centers in the United States. Founded in 1997, GGFC has grown from 20 people practicing outdoors at Kezar stadium in San Francisco to over 130 members practicing in two gyms with 14 electric strips - nine of which are grounded competition strips - men’s and women’s locker rooms, a full armory, an equipment store and a seating area for parents and spectators.

Golden Gate Fencing Center Intermediate Camp

Camp Description:

Designed for the intermediate level youth foil and epee fencer,
GGFC's Youth Camp is a great opportunity for fencers to work on high level
competition skills as well as improving their tactical and technical abilities. The
camp will focus on several key areas of fencing including tournament preparation, proper
warm-up techniques, tournament and bouting strategies, equipment repair and refereeing.
Taught by top level coaches and students, this camp is guaranteed to help the youth fencer
prepare for the competitive season as well as improve overall.

GGFC offers week-long half-day camps for kids ages 8-12, taught by trained professional coaches with many years of experience working with young athletes.
